Student Elections 2021 Nominations Announced

It’s that time of academic year again.

UL Student Life announced the nominations for the student elections yesterday, March 17 on their social media platforms.

There are seven candidates running for the four positions.

Candidates for President are fourth year Business and German student, Cillian O’Donohue, and final- year Business student Dylan Reeves- Wasik.

Seán Mulkern is the sole candidate for Welfare Officer, and will be up against Re-Open Nominations.

Final year Applied Languages student Jasmin Griffin Jones, fourth year Science Education student Colin Doyle, and Alice Hynes are running for Academic Officer.

Jordan Meadow Cassells is running for Communities Officer, and will also run against Re-Open Nominations.

Hustings will take place next Tuesday, March 23 and the election will take place on Thursday, March 25.

Students are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates on the Student Life instagram.
