Women’s Division One Group C

UL v Mary I (UL Grounds, 8pm).
The UL team face a must win Women’s Division One Group C clash against arch rivals Mary Immaculate. This division contains four teams: GMIT, Garda College, UL and Mary I. UL suffered defeat in their opening game of the season as they were beaten 2-1 by a strong GMIT side. They responded to beat Garda College 3-1 as Sarah Ryan bagged a brace and Ezra Kangal sealed the win.
They now face a Mary I side who have yet to score a goal this season. They lost to GMIT 6-0 and have also drawn with Garda College 0-0. UL know they must win this game in order to keep pace with league leaders GMIT.
Men’s Division Two Group D

Waterford IT “B” v UL “B” (WIT Arena)
UL face a difficult away game against Waterford IT in Division 2 Group D of the league. UL have drawn one and lost one of their games while Waterford IT have played three games and won them all. UL drew with Cork IT “B” 2-2 as Donal O’Connell and Daniel Ogundele goals were not enough to seal three points for UL. They then suffered a 1-0 defeat away at University College Cork “B” in their previous game.
Waterford IT “B” beat Cork IT “B” 3-1 away from home, then defeated UCC “B” 2-1 in Cork before winning their first home game of the season 2-0 against IT Tralee. They have kept one clean sheet in three games but UL face a difficult task in beating the in form home side.
